Role Summary
Process Technician - Filling/Formulation Nights is responsible for the safe operation of highly automated equipment used to fill syringes, modeling current Good Manufacturing Practices and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role supports safety, quality, and productivity on the manufacturing floor to maintain reliable supply of products to patients.
Responsibilities
- This role will be responsible for the safe operation of highly automated equipment used to fill syringes. The Filling/Formulation Technician is expected to model current Good Manufacturing Practices and ensure compliance with all safety standards.
Qualifications
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Required: Ability to work night shift (1800 to 0630) on a rotational schedule between workdays (2-2-3).
- Required: Ability to work overtime.
- Required: Ability to wear safety equipment (safety glasses, safety shoes, protective gloves, etc.).
- Required: Ability to work in a restricted environment (classified clean room space) for extended periods of time.
- Required: Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge in adherence to governing procedures.
- Required: Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal).
- Required: Flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Required: Basic computer skills (desktop software).
- Preferred: Scientific/technical degrees or certifications.
- Preferred: Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs).
- Preferred: Previous experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and electronic batch release.
- Preferred: Previous experience utilizing solution filling equipment and/or isolator technology.
- Preferred: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
