Operations
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate highly automated equipment used to fill syringes and perform required area cleaning.
- Model current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and ensure compliance with all safety standards.
- Support the Line Lead in developing operators and identifying opportunities for operational improvement.

Basic Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-year relevant experience (education may be substituted for experience with manager discretion).

Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Adhere to RTP Plant safety policies and procedures; contribute to a safe work environment.
- Follow standard operating procedures and current cGMPs to ensure product quality.
- Support leadership on the manufacturing floor to maintain safety, quality, and productivity.
- Proactively monitor documentation and product quality; document activities and report issues.
- Support leadership during troubleshooting; serve as a reliable point of contact for issue escalation.
- Assist supervisor with development and training of shift operators.
- Drive departmental objectives: improve safety performance, reduce deviations, improve productivity, and ensure training compliance.

Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Ability to train and coach others; effective written/verbal communication.
- Flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills (desktop software).
- 3+ years relevant experience in pharmaceutical or equivalent regulated industry.
- Scientific/technical degrees or certifications; knowledge of cGMPs.
- Experience with solution filling equipment and/or isolator technology.
- Experience with pre-filled syringe (PFS) technology.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and electronic batch release.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.

Additional Information:
- Lilly Research Triangle Park site; wear safety equipment.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (2-2-3 schedule), off-shift for training, and overtime as required.
- Travel <5% for training.
- Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly will not sponsor visas/work authorization.

Compensation/Benefits:
- Anticipated wage: $17.30–$34.38.
