Process Safety Lead

Role: Provide process safety technical support within Lilly's Engineering Technology Center, focusing on GIPSM processes such as Mechanical Integrity, process hazards, and pressure safety. Responsibilities: serve as a technical resource for pressure relief hazards, evaluate relief system sizing, ensure Mechanical Integrity standards, support process hazard reviews, and collaborate on safety trends and standards. Requirements: Bachelor's in Engineering (e.g., Chemical Engineering), minimum 8 years' experience in pharma or chemical manufacturing, with expertise in pressure relief and safety systems, and US work authorization. Preferred: professional engineering license, experience with small/molecule, large molecule, or parenteral processes, knowledge of US and international safety codes, and strong communication skills.
