Your Role: Process Operator β Farm Animal Manufacturing Operations
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor large-scale manufacturing and processing equipment across fermentation, recovery, and finishing; troubleshoot process/equipment issues.
- Follow production documentation, batch records, SOPs, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO 9000, FDA, OSHA, and site safety.
- Support manufacturing activities including equipment cleaning, tank turnaround, material handling, filter rebuilds, packaging, and production operations.
- Identify process improvement opportunities; support preventive maintenance; communicate operational issues to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain a safe work environment by using PPE, following safety procedures, and supporting housekeeping and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED or 2-year technical degree.
- Experience: 2+ years in manufacturing/industrial/production in a regulated or process-driven environment (hands-on operational experience preferred); strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and ownership.
- Skills: Troubleshooting/problem-solving and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- cGMP/FDA/ISO 9000 manufacturing experience.
- Experience operating large-scale industrial or semi-automated equipment.
- Familiarity with fermentation, material handling, blending, drying, filtration, packaging.
- Fork truck experience and/or handling industrial raw materials/finished goods.
- Experience with equipment cleaning, preventive maintenance, process monitoring, or continuous improvement.
Additional Information/Benefits:
- One-time sign-on bonus: $2,500.
- Location: Clinton Manufacturing Site, Clinton, IN (onsite). Shift: rotating 12-hour swing shift.
- Benefits include: two weeklong shutdowns (mid-summer and year-end) in addition to PTO; 8-week parental leave; 9 Employee Resource Groups; up to 6% 401K matching.
