Role Summary
Process Operator responsible for the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality medicines and vaccines. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and improve processes as part of a team, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Location: Zebulon, North Carolina, USA.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and clean manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments to meet production specifications.
- Identify and resolve minor equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
- Support safety, quality, and performance objectives by adhering to established protocols and standards.
Qualifications
- Required: High school diploma or GED.
- Required: At least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing operations.
- Required: Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Required: Willingness to work up to 12.5 hours per shift, as needed.
- Preferred: Experience working with manufacturing data and analyzing performance metrics.
- Preferred: Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operations, including reading gauges and instrumentation.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and process improvement methodologies.
- Preferred: Competence in data entry and use of computer systems, including Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
- Preferred: Familiarity with manufacturing applications such as SAP or similar systems.
- Preferred: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Preferred: Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
