Role Summary

Process Operator responsible for the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality medicines and vaccines. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and improve processes as part of a team, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Location: Zebulon, North Carolina, USA.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and clean manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments to meet production specifications.
  • Identify and resolve minor equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Support safety, quality, and performance objectives by adhering to established protocols and standards.

Qualifications

  • Required: High school diploma or GED.
  • Required: At least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing operations.
  • Required: Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Required: Willingness to work up to 12.5 hours per shift, as needed.
  • Preferred: Experience working with manufacturing data and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Preferred: Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operations, including reading gauges and instrumentation.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and process improvement methodologies.
  • Preferred: Competence in data entry and use of computer systems, including Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
  • Preferred: Familiarity with manufacturing applications such as SAP or similar systems.
  • Preferred: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Preferred: Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
