Role Summary
Identify potential issues and support improvement of reliability of systems and equipment, minimizing downtime for the designated process. Assist in operating the assigned process supporting low to moderate complexity issues. This role reports to the Manager and supports safety and environmental requirements as part of process operations.
Responsibilities
- Actively improve performance & reliability of process equipment
- Restore function to equipment in an effective & technically correct manner
- Actively participate in & support Event Response
- Perform corrective & preventative maintenance on assigned process
- Operate, monitor, control equipment, systems & processes assigned
- Support & implement system/equipment reliability improvement projects
- Support & assist in all aspects of process operations
- Record & review production data in Batch Production Records (BPRs) & associated forms
- Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Required: Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or relevant field
- Required: High School diploma (or GED) with minimum of two years of equipment maintenance experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or related industry
- Preferred: Knowledgeable in compressed air, electro-Mechanical controls, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and/or robotics
- Preferred: Ability & experience with automated records systems such as SAP, schematics, wiring diagrams & other technical documents
- Preferred: Computer literacy
- Preferred: Support planning & execution of process functions & assist in coordination of planned & corrective maintenance activities to ensure successful process performance
Education
- Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or relevant field (Required)
- High School diploma or GED (Required) with minimum of two years equipment maintenance experience (pharmaceutical manufacturing or related industry)

- Physical requirements: Moves equipment or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds; stands for up to 12 hours; may require corrected vision to 20/25 and color vision; may ascend/descend ladders and work at elevated heights; may work around odorous or hazardous materials; may require latex gloves; may perform duties in extremely cold environments or confined spaces; may work in loud noise environments with hearing protection; may be required to pass a driving exam for powered industrial trucks; does not require a valid driver's license.
