Operations
The Position
- Identify potential issues and support improvement of reliability of systems and equipment to minimize system/equipment downtime.
- Assist in operation of the assigned process supporting low to moderate complexity issues.
Essential Functions
- Actively improve performance and reliability of process equipment.
- Restore function to equipment in an effective, technically correct manner.
- Participate in and support Event Response.
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on assigned process.
- Operate, monitor, and control assigned equipment, systems, and processes.
- Support and implement system/equipment reliability improvement projects.
- Support and assist in all aspects of process operations.
- Record and review production data in Batch Production Records (BPRs) and associated forms.
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or relevant field (required).
- OR High School diploma (or GED) plus a minimum of 2 years of equipment maintenance experience (preferably pharmaceutical manufacturing or related).
- Knowledgeable in: Compressed Air, Electro-Mechanical controls, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation and/or robotics (preferred).
- Ability/experience with automated records systems such as SAP, schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documents (preferred).
- Computer literacy (preferred).
- Assist in coordination of planned/corrective maintenance activities to ensure successful process performance (a plus).
