Process Lead (Operations)

Responsibilities
- Daily coordination of line processing and people allocation, including downtime accountability and shift summary reporting; mentor associates/assistants/technicians to ensure on-time, compliant execution.
- Own the line-side performance management process: identify gaps, implement corrective actions, and escalate issues impacting product quality, safety, or line performance.
- Apply GSK Production System standards (5S, standard work, problem solving, gemba, process confirmations, performance management) to drive Zero Accidents, Zero Defects, and Zero Waste; coach problem solving and support higher-level deviation investigations; create/process-confirm 5S and OSW; participate in area CIF.
- Deliver safety/quality/waste/performance objectives via strategy deployment; lead process improvement/alternative operating methods with cross-functional partners.
- Act as subject matter expert in operations/process and SAP for process troubleshooting.
- Support supervisor with level 1 safety/quality inspections, SOP and standard work reviews, and 5S confirmations.
- Manage quality performance: generate quality deviations, lead investigations, review batch documentation, provide OJT training, and identify corrective actions.
- Use required systems/applications to monitor trends (e.g., DELTA, myLearning, FreeWeigh, DISY, Active Plant, IP21, SAP production transactions).

Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Senior Process Operator or Senior Technical Operator; and 3 years minimum GSK experience.
- OJT certified in all packaging work centers or majority of manufacturing work centers.
- Delta contributor and author access.

Skills/Traits
- Proficient reading/writing/math; MS Word and Excel; basic hand tools; accurate with figures/data; mechanically inclined; able to read gauges/instrumentation.
- Visual inspection/attention to detail; follow written and verbal instructions.

Preferred Qualifications
- 2-year associate degree or equivalent; demonstrated performance in Senior Technical/Process Operator roles; organizational skills; product portfolio knowledge; manufacturing process knowledge; challenge planning/organization as needed; English/French; OEE understanding; advanced MS Office/data analysis; independent work; ability to train others; 6-step root-cause problem solving.

Physical Job Requirements
- Ability to work in manufacturing environment; lift up to 40 lbs; wear required PPE; work overtime and up to 12.5 hrs/shift; other standard physical capabilities.
