Process Generalist (Production Manager)

Role: Process Generalist (Production Manager) supporting seed production operations in Crop Science. Objectives: ensure quality, safety, compliance, and efficiency in onsite manufacturing, supporting upstream/downstream activities. Responsibilities: set and maintain production standards, facilitate communication between support teams and external partners, provide technical support, mentor technicians, champion Lean Manufacturing, and monitor KPIs to optimize quality and productivity. Qualifications: high school diploma or GED; prior experience in manufacturing operations, technical support, or safety; valid driver’s license; ability to lift 60 lbs., work weekends/overtime. Preferred: bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, Agriculture, or Supply Chain with 4+ years of relevant experience or 7+ years in manufacturing; lean manufacturing experience; seed production knowledge. High-value: seed production, manufacturing, safety, quality standards, lean principles, and plant operations. Work setup: based in Waco, Nebraska; may involve domestic relocation; driving company vehicles as part of duties.
