Process Engineer, Kilo and High Potency Lab, Lilly Medicine Foundry

Role: Process Engineer supporting API manufacturing at Lilly's new Lebanon, IN facility, focusing on small molecule Kilo Lab and High Potency Lab operations. Responsibilities: evaluate scale-up feasibility, design and troubleshoot reactor systems, develop containment and safety strategies for HPAPI handling, optimize unit operations like crystallization and distillation, ensure cGMP compliance, and collaborate cross-functionally to support process development and startup activities. Requirements: BS/MS in chemical engineering or related field; 1-4 years in pharma/biotech process engineering supporting drug substance API manufacturing or development. High-Value: small molecule APIs, GMP environment, kilo-scale reactor systems, HPAPI containment, process optimization, analytical techniques (HPLC, MS, NMR), scale-up from gram to kg, supporting early-stage to clinical supply. Work Setup: initially Parkwood West, Indianapolis; permanent site in Lebanon, Indiana.
