Process Engineer III (Global MSAT Tech Transfer)

Responsibilities:
- Support downstream technology transfer for late-stage molecules/commercial manufacturing and/or PPQ campaign support.
- Support site-to-site tech transfer activities.
- Perform gap analysis/risk assessments; ensure mitigation plans are in place; build design spaces (PAR & NOR ranges) for critical process parameters to support validation and late-stage/commercial manufacturing.
- Develop, review, and approve technical documentation (global protocols for performance qualifications, batch records, and reports) related to engineering, GMP, and PPQ runs.
- Author templates for Process Validation and Continued Process Verification strategies.
- Analyze process data, including annual periodic reviews across manufacturing sites.
- Author process transfer documents and/or process control strategies for phase III and commercial programs at receiving sites across the Just MFG network.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/sciences/related program with 5+ years relevant experience; 2 years of experience with an MS degree.
- Biopharmaceutical experience supporting process/technology transfer; commercial manufacturing campaign support is a plus.
- Knowledge of process risk assessment tools (e.g., FMEA), process models, and process trending.
- Solid downstream processing knowledge: process chromatography (including continuous), large-scale column packing, viral filtration, tangential flow filtration.
- Solid understanding of GMP concepts and quality systems for tech transfer and process validation.
- Hands-on downstream disposable manufacturing technologies (bench to commercial).
- Working knowledge of manufacturing process equipment and automation systems.
- Strong quality focus, attention to detail, task/time management.
- Ability to organize, analyze/interpret, and communicate process data.
- Interpersonal/team collaboration skills; excellent oral and written communication.

Preferred qualifications:
- Downstream/disposable manufacturing practical experience (manufacturing or bench).
- Experience supporting late-stage manufacturing, tech transfer, and/or process validation studies.
- Can solve complex technical problems; may lead projects.
- Ability to navigate global regulatory CMC documents.
- Experience with DeltaV for process control.
