Process Engineer I - SDF (Wash)

Role: Process Improvement Engineer supporting manufacturing operations at Novo Nordisk's Durham NC facility, focusing on system and equipment development to meet regulatory and business standards. Responsibilities: lead cross-functional process improvements, employ Lean tools including Green Belt methodologies, develop and manage project budgets, support safety and environmental standards, and mentor shopfloor personnel. Requirements: Bachelor's in engineering or related field with 1+ years of experience; alternatively, an Associate’s or High School diploma with 2-4 years of relevant experience. Preferred: Six Sigma Green Belt certification; knowledge of Instrument & Electrical, Mechanical, Control/SCADA/PLCs systems; experience with RCA and RCM. High-Value: manufacturing (solid dosage forms), process improvement, GMP compliance, safety standards, at an oral treatment production site for diabetes. Collaboration with global OFP teams. Work setup: on-site with physical requirements including equipment handling, standing, and working in various environments.
