Operations
The Position
- Improve/develop systems and equipment for core processes to meet customer, business, and regulatory requirements through: People Focus, Process Focus, Equipment Focus, and Standards “Gatekeeper”.

Essential Functions
- Coach and mentor peers and shopfloor personnel; support shopfloor technical development
- Use advanced cLEAN tools for problem solving, project, and change management
- Lead cross-functional process improvements
- Develop performance improvement plans using green belt concepts
- Develop and manage project budgets for process/system improvements
- Support event response activities
- Support implementation of better practices and share knowledge across OFP sites
- Maintain and establish standards for procedures and maintenance plans
- Support global OFP collaboration initiatives
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements; other accountabilities as assigned

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (accredited) required; 1 year engineering experience in maintenance, design, process improvement, or Six Sigma Green Belt certification/equivalent preferred
- Associate’s degree (accredited) considered with 2 years engineering experience required
- High school diploma/GED considered with 4 years engineering experience required
- Three (3) years engineering experience preferred
- Knowledge of Instrument & Electrical, Mechanical, Control/SCADA/PLCs; Process Improvement Methodologies; Root Cause Analysis (RCA); Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) a plus
