The Position
- Support development and installation of new equipment and processes for aseptic and finished production areas to meet future business and regulatory requirements.
- Improve system and equipment reliability for core processes to meet customer, business, and regulatory requirements (People Focus, Process Focus, Equipment Focus).
- Develop standards for new equipment and processes.
Relationships
- Reports to Manager, Technical Support.
Essential Functions
- Support technical development of Maintenance Technicians.
- Support development of new production equipment and processes.
- Lead projects to improve or enhance the production line upon install.
- Support event response activities.
- Maintain standards for procedures and maintenance plans.
- Support DFP global collaboration initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs Degree in Engineering/related field or Equivalent (experience + education) required.
- Minimum 3 years engineering experience in Maintenance, Design, Process Improvement; cLEAN 1-Star preferred.
- Knowledge of Instrument & Electrical, Mechanical, Control/SCADA/PLCs; Process Improvement Methodologies; Root Cause Analysis (RCA) a plus.
- Proven expertise in planning/organization/execution of maintenance activities; follow-up on results; revise work plans for complex problems via cross-functional teams (plus).
