Process Engineer (Wyandotte, MI, USA) β€” Full-time

Responsibilities:
- Comply with applicable policies and procedures.
- Plan and conduct small- to medium-size engineering projects; coordinate/monitor activities; review implementation quality; use contingency plans for schedule or budget overruns.
- Estimate and coordinate resources (materials, budget, time, people); anticipate future directions; benchmark internally/externally; recognize environmental/resource changes and prepare for issues/opportunities.
- Independently execute design of products/processes/equipment/systems/facilities using standard engineering theories; independently investigate, conduct tests/experiments.
- Create/modify designs for intermediate problems; design/modify more complex components/processes; write detailed specifications; analyze data patterns/trends and make recommendations.
- Improve methods/designs/processes using historical trend data; implement cost reductions and original solutions.
- Mentor others; resolve underlying problems; identify customer/client needs and propose solutions.
- Direct efforts of technicians/outsourced resources; write Requests for Capital Expenditures (RCEs), safety/quality checklists, scope documents; develop/execute quality documentation (NCR, CP, MOC, validation protocols).
- Provide Delta V technical support during production and cleaning.
- Provide production support during off-peak hours (overtime, overnight, weekends as needed).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering/Science (or closely related) desired; or equivalent technical experience with 2+ years significant engineering and/or operational experience (post-graduate education and Delta V control system knowledge may contribute).
- Demonstrated competency in a discipline; working knowledge of concepts/practices/procedures.
- Ability to analyze problems of moderate scope and apply judgment within defined practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills; collaborate in a fast-paced environment; negotiate/reconcile differences.
- Preferred: technical background in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biologics, or similar industries.
