Process Engineer

Role: Lead product technology transfer and process scale-up for pharmaceutical topical products (Lotion, Cream, Ointment) at Aquestive Therapeutics, focusing on manufacturing process improvements and technology implementation. Responsibilities: manage process development and continuous improvement projects; support manufacturing troubleshooting; monitor process attributes, analyze trends, and ensure product quality; develop and document processes, risk assessments, and control strategies; lead product transfer from pilot to commercial scale, establishing process parameters and quality profiles; coordinate with external contractors and cross-functional teams; support deviation investigations and CAPA implementation. Qualifications: bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent pharmaceutical experience; 5-7 years in pharma manufacturing or process development; expertise in mixing, blending, coating, web handling, and liquid dispensing processes; proficient in cGMPs, CAPA, root cause analysis, and project management tools; strong communication and team collaboration skills.
