Role: Process Engineer supporting Lilly's advanced Device Assembly/Packaging manufacturing at the Kenosha site, focusing on designing, commissioning, qualifying, and integrating automated packaging lines. Responsibilities: lead project lifecycle activitiesโdesign review, FAT, SAT, startup, qualification; ensure equipment safety, compliance with Lilly standards and industry regulations; develop expertise in process control, automation, and validation; troubleshoot complex equipment issues; drive continuous improvement; collaborate with cross-functional teams including automation, quality, operations, and OEMs; mentor engineering staff. Requirements: bachelor's in STEM; 7+ years in highly automated manufacturing environments, preferably in pharma or biotech; strong automation, process control, and project management skills; experience with GxP, cGMP, CFR, and safety standards. Preferred: leadership in greenfield/brownfield projects, knowledge of Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View SE, vision systems, robotics, and statistical analysis. High-Value: focus on pharmaceutical cGMP compliance, automation integration, manufacturing systems (MES, SCADA), validation, and troubleshooting in Device Assembly/Packaging. Work setup: 8-hour days, rotational on-call, domestic and international travel (~25-50% during startup, ~5-10% post-operation).
