Process Development Engineering Senior Scientific Associate

Role: Process Development Engineering Senior Scientific Associate supporting bioprocess development at Vertex, focusing on high-throughput mammalian and stem cell culture using bioreactor platforms like ambr250 and perfusion systems. Responsibilities: execute and document process-development studies, operate and troubleshoot bioreactors and automation workflows, support equipment maintenance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and incorporate new tools. Requirements: Bachelor's in Biology, Chemical/Biomedical Engineering, or related field; 2+ years of experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques, or Master's with less experience; experience with bioreactors, perfusion, and laboratory automation preferred.
