Process Development Associate Scientist

Role: Process Development Associate Scientist supporting drug product formulation and process development for late-stage biologics at Amgen. Responsibilities: plan and execute formulation studies, perform analytical testing (e.g., UF/DF, filtration), evaluate product/process performance, develop data analysis solutions, author technical protocols and reports, and collaborate with engineers and scientists on lifecycle management. Requirements: Master’s degree with 1+ years or Bachelor’s with 3+ years in biological/pharmaceutical sciences; experience with biologics process development, formulation, equipment design, and analytical techniques (SEC, CEX, MFI); knowledge of protein stability and relevant unit operations. Preferred: background in chemical/biomedical engineering, biotech, or pharmaceutics; familiarity with ADCs; proficiency with statistical and programming tools (SAS, JMP, Python, R, SQL, Tableau); strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
