Process Control & Automation Engineer (BMS/HVAC)

Role: Process Control and Automation Engineer (BMS/HVAC) supporting GMP manufacturing startup at Lilly’s new API facility in Lebanon, Indiana. Responsibilities: develop, implement, and qualify Building Management and HVAC automation solutions; manage hardware/software upgrades; maintain documentation; ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards; troubleshoot and improve control systems; collaborate with process teams to address issues and implement solutions. Requirements: Bachelor’s in engineering or computer sciences; 5+ years in automation engineering; 3+ years in BMS/HVAC controls (JCI, Honeywell, Siemens, Andover); US work authorization. Preferred: experience with validation, IT support, control system software (Rockwell, Aveva Pi), certifications (PAE, PCAE, CNE), and licensure (PE). High-value: GMP environment, biotech/pharma manufacturing, API production, greenfield site startup, focus on control systems and automation technologies. Work setup: full-time, based in Lebanon, Indiana, with safety and compliance as priorities.
