Role: Logistics Engineer supporting design, implementation, and continuous improvement of logistics systems at Lilly's Richmond manufacturing site. Responsibilities: develop and maintain material flow processes, oversee setup and qualification of automated handling systems (ASRS, AMRs, conveyance), support start-up activities, create SOPs, monitor system performance, drive lean initiatives, and ensure GMP compliance in warehouse operations. Qualifications: BSc in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related; 3+ years in logistics or supply chain engineering, preferably in pharma/biotech; experience with ERP systems required. Preferred: MBA or MSc, SAP S/4HANA/EWM, Lean Six Sigma certification, and automation system expertise. High-Value: focus on biotech manufacturing, logistics automation, GMP compliance, change management, and cross-functional collaboration. Work setup: flexible, with occasional travel during start-up, including participation in on-call support during validation phases.
