About The Role
- Principal Environmental Specialist, subject matter expert for environmental compliance and hazardous waste management.
- Develop, lead, and advance enterprise environmental programs, systems, policies, and best practices to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)
- Translate complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions; guide stakeholders on hazardous materials, radiation safety, and process risk.
- Own environmental permitting strategy and compliance governance; standardize permitting practices across the enterprise.
- Serve as technical authority for environmental compliance; advise leaders on regulatory strategy, risk mitigation, and program implementation.
- Lead environmental compliance assessments/trend analyses; identify systemic risks and corrective actions.
- Lead Environmental Safety Training program development and delivery.
- Respond to incidents; lead investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
- Support EHS program implementation and provide technical guidance during R&D and clinical operations.
- Drive ISO 14001 Environmental Management System roadmap and emergency response procedures/tabletop exercises.

Requirements
- BS/BA (preferred) in a scientific/related discipline + 6+ years relevant EHS experience; or AS + 8+ years.
- HAZWOPER 40-hour (preferred). DOT Hazardous Material Handler, DOT 49 CFR, and IATA (preferred).
- Working knowledge of environmental regulations and standards (hazardous waste, hazardous materials, permitting, compliance reporting).
- Ability to interpret regulations and apply to operational activities; strong analytical and communication skills.

Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- Base salary: $119,700–$164,000; annual bonus target 30%; equity incentive eligibility.
