Principal Software Engineer

Role: Senior Software Engineer (Principal level) focusing on healthcare and laboratory systems, delivering high-impact, scalable software solutions. Responsibilities: serve as a top-tier individual contributor; lead by example in software design, development, and performance; collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to translate strategic goals; mentor peers; participate in architecture discussions; incorporate emerging technologies and best practices; contribute to product and business insights. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; 10+ years in software engineering; extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, cloud-native applications (AWS including EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3), and healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR). Preferred: advanced degree in Computer Science, healthcare domain experience, expertise in cloud infrastructure (Terraform, Jenkins, Datadog), high-volume data processing, and system design. High-Value: healthcare diagnostics, clinical workflows, laboratory systems, compliance with HIPAA, experience with scalable architectures, and contributing to open-source projects.
