Role: Principal Software Development Engineer focused on desktop software design and implementation for next-generation corneal therapy systems. Primary objectives include developing software architecture, coding, testing, risk analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulated market standards (21 CFR 820, IEC 14971, IEC 62304). Responsibilities encompass collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, clinical, regulatory, manufacturing) to meet performance, quality, and cost goals while optimizing time to market; supporting legacy product maintenance; and working with hardware teams for system optimization.
