Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled, collaborative, and detail-oriented scientist to join our Translational Research team with deep expertise in CAR T cell therapy and a rigorous foundation in immunology, molecular/cell biology, and/or virology.
In this role, you will serve as a Translational Safety Strategy Lead, driving evaluation of gene-modified CAR T product-related genotoxicity in alignment with established study protocols and applicable regulatory guidelines across early- and late-stage clinical programs, with emphasis on post-marketing settings.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end translational safety strategies, testing, and reporting across multiple assets/platforms spanning clinical and commercial programs.
- Oversee complex testing operations (sample workflows, case tracking, data flow, data management); lead in-depth complex case investigations.
- Drive process improvements by streamlining data reporting flows and optimizing testing workflows, assay services, and data reporting infrastructure.
- Provide scientific leadership and interpretation to inform clinical and regulatory decisions; serve as SME for health authority inquiries and regulatory submissions.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment; set priorities and build collaborative internal/external partnerships.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorโs: 8+ years academic and/or industry experience
- Masterโs: 6+ years academic and/or industry experience
- Ph.D. or equivalent in Life Sciences: 4+ years academic and/or industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. with 7+ years combined clinical trial research and basic sciences (industry/biotech), strong cell therapy/immunology/molecular/cell biology/virology background.
- Exceptional scientific communication and writing; strong cross-functional collaboration and timeline management.
- Strong regulatory knowledge, including drafting/reviewing regulatory documents and supporting regulatory inquiries/submissions.
