Role: Principal Scientist providing strategic biomarker leadership within Oncology and Hematology drug development programs, from early to late clinical phases. Responsibilities: develop and execute integrated biomarker strategies aligned with therapeutic mechanisms, disease biology, and clinical endpoints; translate scientific hypotheses into decision-focused biomarker approaches; partner across functions including Discovery, Clinical Development, Diagnostics, and Regulatory; interpret complex biomarker and clinical data to inform program decisions; support development of companion diagnostics and external collaborations; mentor biomarker scientists and communicate findings to stakeholders. Qualifications: Ph.D. or M.D. with extensive experience in oncology or hematology translational medicine, biomarker science, or drug development; proven success in designing and implementing biomarker strategies for targeted, immune-based, or cell therapies; strong expertise in molecular and cellular biomarker modalities such as NGS, ctDNA, MRD, immunohistochemistry; excellent cross-functional leadership, analytical, and scientific communication skills. Preferred: experience supporting multiple clinical stages, integrating multi-omic biomarker data, and familiarity with regulatory biomarker considerations. High-Value: focus on biomarker strategies for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, including disease heterogeneity, resistance, and patient selection; designing assays for genomic, proteomic, and immune profiling. Work setup: hybrid, with ~10% travel.
