Role: Principal Scientist providing strategic biomarker leadership within Oncology and Hematology drug development programs, spanning early to late clinical phases. Responsibilities: develop integrated biomarker strategies aligned with therapeutic mechanisms, disease biology, and clinical endpoints; translate scientific hypotheses into actionable biomarker plans; serve as cross-functional program team member, guiding interpretation of complex data; and support biomarker-driven patient selection, resistance mechanisms, and response assessments. Collaborate closely with Discovery, Clinical Development, Data Science, and Regulatory teams; mentor biomarker scientists; contribute to scientific publications and external collaborations. Qualifications: Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent in oncology, translational medicine, or related field; extensive experience in translational/clinical biomarker strategy development in oncology or hematology; expertise in cancer biology, molecular diagnostics (e.g., NGS, ctDNA, MRD), and biomarker modalities; proven ability to translate scientific hypotheses into decision-enabling strategies; strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills. Preferred: multi-program experience, familiarity with targeted/immuno-oncology therapies, companion diagnostics, and regulatory considerations.
