Role: Principal Scientist providing strategic biomarker leadership within cardiovascular, metabolic, infectious diseases, and vaccines portfolios, supporting early to late clinical development. Responsibilities: develop integrated biomarker strategies aligned with therapeutic mechanisms, disease biology, and clinical endpoints; translate scientific hypotheses into decision-enabling approaches; interpret complex biomarker and clinical data; collaborate across Discovery, Clinical, Data Science, Regulatory, and Operations teams; mentor biomarker scientists and support scientific communications and publications. Requirements: Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent in translational medicine, biomarker science, or related field; extensive experience in translational/clinical biomarker strategy development in drug/vaccine development; strong understanding of disease mechanisms, pharmacodynamics, and clinical endpoints; proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment; excellent data analysis, scientific communication, and strategic planning skills. Preferred: experience in cardiovascular, metabolic, infectious disease, or vaccine programs; familiarity with pharmacodynamic, predictive, or precision-medicine biomarkers; mentoring experience. Work setup: hybrid remote, with approximately 10% travel.
