Clinical Research and Development
Main Responsibilities:
- Generate hypotheses on how targets, pathways, and cell type/state drive diseases (immunology, neurology, oncology) by integrating multi-omics and multi-modal data, including real-world data and clinical metadata.
- Apply established analytical methods to understand disease and drug mechanisms.
- Design intelligent agentic workflows to streamline deployment of innovative algorithms and computational models.
- Lead projects involving internal experiment design and data analytics, including outsourcing of established workflows and/or complex follow-up mechanistic assays (organoid, CRISPR, proteomics).
- Collaborate with academic, industry, and internal partners on method development and disease-focused scientific studies.
- Lead and contribute to high-profile presentations and publications.
- Mentor interns and junior scientists; share knowledge and foster a collaborative research environment.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in systems biology, computational biology, biostatistics, or related quantitative field with proven experience in a relevant disease area (immunology, neurology, oncology), OR Ph.D. in biological/biomedical sciences (immunology, neuroscience, oncology or related) with proven advanced track record in data analytics, ML/AI, or computational biology.
- At least 2 years post-doctoral experience in relevant academic or industry roles.
- Hands-on experience in ML/AI and building/deploying agentic analysis workflows.
- Extensive hands-on experience and deep knowledge of multi-omics and/or multimodal data analysis; ability to derive actionable interpretations and conclusions.
- Track record of productivity, innovation, and impact (publications or patents).
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and team skills; proven success collaborating across disciplines.
