Role: Discovery Program Leader (DPL) specializing in Nonclinical Drug Safety (NDS) for discovery research in immunology and oncology. Responsibilities: define and oversee NDS strategies across modalities (small molecules, biologics, ADCs) from target identification through FIH GLP toxicity studies; conduct risk assessments; de-risk discovery programs; collaborate on study execution and regulatory safety sections; represent NDS on discovery teams and in leadership reviews; promote innovative thinking in therapeutic areas including infectious disease, neuroscience, immunology, oncology, and cardiometabolic. Requirements: PhD, DVM, MD or equivalent; 8+ years experience as a non-clinical safety scientist or safety assessment representative; strong cross-functional navigation and leadership skills; excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred: experience in biopharma discovery, regulatory submissions, and memberships in scientific organizations. High-Value: focus on immunology and oncology, early discovery to preclinical stages, GLP toxicology, cross-site collaboration, and strategic risk assessment. WorkSetup: hybrid location with ~10% travel.
