Principal Scientist, Process Modeling, Digital Insights

Role: Principal Scientist in Digital Insights within Development Sciences and Clinical Supply Digital Technologies, focusing on applying physics-based modeling, CFD, and process simulation to biologics drug substance scale-up. Objectives: bring predictive accuracy to scale-up/scale-down operations and enhance digital tool integration across the CMC pipeline. Responsibilities: lead CFD assessments of bioreactor mixing/gassing, develop scale-down models, extend simulations to other bioprocess unit operations, validate models with experimental data, mentor junior scientists, and shape modeling standards. Qualifications: Ph.D. (6+ years), M.S. (8+ years), or B.S. (10+ years) in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Physics, or related fields with extensive CFD expertise; experience in biologics bioreactor scale-up, GxP, and process characterization highly preferred.
