Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development and implementation of genomics and transcriptomics biomarker strategies for translational medicine and clinical programs.
- Select/evaluate PCR and NGS-based assay technologies (GEP, genotyping, variant analysis, ctDNA) to meet program/protocol/biological needs.
- Design, develop, optimize, qualify, validate, and execute biomarker assays; support pharmacodynamic/target engagement/predictive/prognostic assays and platform development.
- Create qualification/validation plans, protocols, reports, SOPs and technical documentation; generate/analyze qualification datasets for fit-for-purpose deployment.
- Perform hands-on laboratory work (PCR, qPCR, NGS, gene expression, genotyping, variant analysis); troubleshoot, implement corrective actions, and ensure robustness/reproducibility.
- Oversee internal and vendor-based clinical sample analysis; review QC metrics and performance trends; serve as SME on genomics technologies and biomarker strategies.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, run due diligence/pilot studies, lead technology transfer, collaborate cross-functionally, maintain compliant records, and mentor junior scientists.
