What You Will Do
Lead discovery and translational biology for a novel immune-targeting therapeutic platform focused on selective modulation of pathogenic immune-cell populations in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead in vitro and ex vivo biological strategy for immune-targeting platform; evaluate immune effector activity and target cell elimination.
- Design and execute in vivo studies assessing lymphocyte-mediated target cell depletion, immune pharmacology, and durability of responses in mouse models.
- Develop/optimize in vitro and ex vivo functional immune-cell assays (co-culture systems; cytotoxicity/target-cell modulation; readouts for activation, expansion, persistence, target engagement, pharmacodynamics).
- Build translational capabilities: immune profiling, biodistribution, pharmacodynamic biomarker development.
- Integrate in vitro/in vivo data for mechanistic insights to guide optimization and candidate selection.
- Advance candidates via preclinical efficacy and mechanistic datasets.
- Collaborate across discovery biology, protein engineering, delivery sciences, in vivo pharmacology, and translational safety; perform/analyze experiments (in vitro/ex vivo/in silico/in vivo).
- Contribute on cross-functional teams: synthesize data, document results, present recommendations.

Basic Qualifications
- PhD, or PharmD, or MD (with relevant post-doc where applicable) + 2 years drug discovery/academic; OR MS + 5 years; OR BS + 7 years.

Preferred Qualifications
- PhD with deep lymphocyte biology/immune effector expertise + 5+ years immunology research; publications in high-impact journals.
- Strong in vitro/ex vivo immunology, primary immune-cell assays, co-cultures, cytotoxicity/target depletion assays, high-parameter flow; desirable: activation states/effector function/persistence/target engagement/pk–pd; mouse model experience; familiarity with small/large molecule discovery, MOA, ELISA/MSD, flow profiling, scRNA-Seq, CRISPR/Cas9, omics.
