Key responsibilities:
- Bring strong AI and digital fluency, using enterprise tools to drive strategic, scientific, and operational leadership in clinical pharmacology.
- Identify, develop, and implement high-value AI use cases to improve clinical pharmacology planning, analyses, and decision quality.
- Represent PK Sciences in project teams, with internal stakeholders, and with regulatory agencies as appropriate.
- Provide expert pharmacokinetic/drug metabolism and clinical pharmacology input across the Research Development to Commercial continuum.
- Use AI to accelerate and enhance understanding of nonclinical/clinical PK/PD relationships, and development dosing strategies/predictions.
- Champion AI-enabled acceleration of study protocol/report/project summary/development plan content (including dosage and PK/PD components), and author pharmacokinetic/clinical pharmacology/biopharmaceutics sections of IND/IMPDs and NDA/BLAs; prepare responses to Health Authority questions.
- Drive interdisciplinary collaboration across PK disciplines, Drug Disposition (ADME, BA), and Modeling & Simulation (M&S) via PK sub-teams.
- Collaborate with clinicians and clinical development colleagues to integrate PKS insights into study design, data interpretation, and project decisions.
- Model AI/ML approaches for model-guided molecular design, automation of preclinical/clinical data, and regulatory document authoring.

Essential requirements:
- Ph.D./Pharm.D. with relevant experience in clinical pharmacology, drug metabolism, and pharmacokinetics or related background.
- 0–2 years drug discovery and/or development experience (academia, CRO, biotech, or Pharma).
- 2+ years (lead) overseeing ADME/DMPK strategy in clinical development or AI strategy for Principal Scientist II; 4+ years for Senior Principal Scientist.
- Extensive PK knowledge (drug metabolism, PK/PD evaluation), project-team experience (preferably global), awareness of drug development and regulatory sciences.
- Exposure to cross-functional, matrixed environments.
- Strong oral and written communication.

Desirable:
- Hands-on AI project experience; examples applying AI to clinical pharmacology topics.
