Principal Scientist II/Senior Principal Scientist, PK Sciences Clinical Pharmacology Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lead (dual level posting)

Role: Lead AI-enabled clinical pharmacology strategy within PK Sciences at Novartis, focusing on developing and applying AI solutions to enhance pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, and clinical pharmacology support across drug development stages. Responsibilities: identify and implement AI use cases to automate and accelerate PK/PD analyses, contribute to drug candidate development, and support regulatory submissions through authoring IND/IMPDs and NDAs. Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams, including Drug Disposition, Modeling & Simulation, and clinical colleagues, to integrate PK insights into project decisions. Requirements: Ph.D. or Pharm.D. with 0-2 years in drug discovery/development or seniority with 4+ years, strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, PK/PD, and experience with AI applications in pharma. Preferred: hands-on AI project experience, interdisciplinary collaboration, and communication skills.
