Role: Lead development of soluble biomarker assays supporting neuromuscular and muscle disease clinical programs within Novartis' Biomarker Development group. Responsibilities: develop, validate, and implement immunoassay and LC-MS methods; translate disease biology into biomarker strategies; evaluate innovative assay technologies; analyze and communicate biomarker data; collaborate across internal teams and external vendors to ensure high-quality assay delivery and compliance. Requirements: PhD with 2+ years or Master's with 10+ years in drug discovery or translational research; hands-on experience with immunoassays (ELISA, MSD, Luminex, Simoa) and LC-MS; familiarity with tissue biopsy workflows, especially muscle tissue, and related assays; supporting neuromuscular or muscle biology programs; excellent communication skills and experience managing collaborative projects.
