Role: Lead the development and implementation of translational and clinical pharmacology strategies to advance new medicines across various modalities—small molecules, biologics, antibody-drug conjugates, radioligand, and cell therapies—in major therapeutic areas including oncology, immunology, cardiovascular, neuroscience, and global health. Responsibilities: serve as the PK Sciences representative in project teams, contribute to drug candidate progression from discovery through late development, design and analyze PK/PD studies, develop dosing and modeling strategies, author regulatory documents (INDs, NDAs), and collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate PK insights into decision-making. Utilize AI/ML tools to enhance data analysis and modeling. Requirements: Ph.D. or Pharm.D. with relevant experience in clinical pharmacology, drug metabolism, or pharmacokinetics; 0-2 years in drug discovery or development; 2+ years leading ADME/DMPK strategies in discovery or clinical phases; deep knowledge of PK/PD, regulatory sciences, and cross-functional collaboration skills; strong communication skills. Preferred: hands-on AI/ML experience. The role reports to the Therapeutic Area group within PK Sciences in Translational Medicine at Novartis, based in Cambridge, MA, with a focus on bridging research advances to clinical application in a global, enterprise-wide setting.
