Role: Principal Scientist in Obesity Therapeutics focused on external innovation and pipeline expansion through diligence and collaboration. Responsibilities: lead external search and evaluation efforts for obesity assets, advise on scientific merit, perform literature and intelligence searches on energy metabolism targets, coordinate preclinical in vitro/in vivo proof-of-concept studies with CROs and academic labs, analyze pharmacokinetic and biological data, and prepare scientific reports and presentations.
