Responsibilities:
- Shape and realize innovation across the biologics pipeline, strategy, and science.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance biologics through purification process strategy.
- Lead/develop robust, scalable purification processes across clinical stages; support process characterization and regulatory filings for commercialization.
- Improve downstream efficiency and cost effectiveness; assess technologies and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with academia, industry, and vendors to develop and adopt novel process technologies.
- Partner with senior leaders on project strategy; conceptualize, plan, and execute projects.
- Stay current on scientific/regulatory landscape; present at conferences, publish, and patent.
- Serve as downstream bioprocess expert internally and externally; mentor and coach teams; promote compliance and safety.

Minimum Education:
- Ph.D. + 6+ years, MS + 8+ years, or BS + 10+ years in industry with Chemical/Biochemical engineering or related field.

Required Experience/Skills:
- Deep expertise in downstream processing of biologics (advances/challenges).
- Independently direct end-to-end purification process development (design, execution, analysis, documentation).
- Proven track record with peer-reviewed publications/presentations; knowledge of biologics CMC development.
- Ability to prioritize under tight timelines; lead/collaborate in cross-functional matrix teams; strong communication.

Preferred:
- Leadership of CMC development teams; continuous biomanufacturing with PAT; automation/high-throughput experimentation; knowledge of protein expression/analytics/conjugation/formulation; modeling and data science/ML/AI.
