Role: Principal Scientist (Director-level) leading drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) efforts within the PDMB group, focusing on peptide and protein therapeutics for immunology and oncology portfolios. Responsibilities: serve as project-team expert on DMPK activities, characterize and optimize ADME/PK properties, design and interpret in vitro/in vivo studies to support drug discovery, and contribute to global DMPK strategies across multiple sites. Qualifications: Ph.D. with 6+ years or Master’s with 10+ years in biochemistry, pharmacology, or related fields; proven leadership in biologics DMPK discovery; strong analytical and modeling skills, including software like Phoenix WinNonlin; experience supporting immunology or oncology programs from early discovery through IND-enabling stages. Preferred: hands-on experience with PBPK modeling, translational PK/PD, and structure-activity relationships; prior work in a pharmaceutical R&D setting. High-Value: biologics (peptides/proteins), immunology and oncology indications, early discovery and preclinical development stages, cross-functional collaboration across discovery and development teams. Work setup: Boston, MA; travel approximately 10%.
