Principal Scientist, DMPK

Role: Principal Scientist in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK), focusing on oligonucleotide therapeutics and emerging modalities. Objectives include developing DMPK strategies to support discovery through clinical development, with emphasis on ADME, PK/PD, and translational pharmacology. Responsibilities involve designing and executing DMPK studies, collaborating across disciplines to optimize delivery and candidate selection, applying modeling approaches, and contributing to regulatory submissions (CTA, IND). Requirements: Ph.D. in pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field; 6+ years industry experience in drug discovery/development; strong expertise in ADME, PK/PD, and translational science; experience with regulatory filings. Preferred skills include experience with oligonucleotide therapeutics (RNAi, ASO), modeling/simulation (PBPK, population PK), and regulatory interactions. The role entails scientific leadership, mentorship, and effective communication within a matrixed team. Work is based in Cambridge, MA, with an in-office setup requiring regular on-site collaboration.
