Work within a fast-paced discovery laboratory environment across small molecules, oligonucleotides, biologics, and other modalities.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize LC-MS approaches to support DMPK portfolio deliverables and bioanalytical work across modalities, including DMPK assays, exploratory biology experiments (e.g., PK-PD), and non-GLP toxicokinetic studies.
  • Engage in broad scientific development within the team, expanding capabilities across sample preparation, separations, instrumentation, and data analysis to enable rapid design-make-test cycles.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with 2+ years of postdoctoral/industry experience; or M.S. with 5+ years; or B.S. with 8+ years.
  • Experience with DMPK principles and bioanalytical workflows; significant experience analyzing DMPK/related assays (in vitro, in vivo, toxicokinetic) using mass spectrometry.
  • Experience in mass spectrometry-based analysis of small molecules in discovery settings.
  • Experience in working with matrix teams to deliver complex studies by providing bioanalytical guidance into study protocols/designs and scheduling.
  • Experience implementing new instrumentation, technology, and workflows to solve analytical problems.

Skills

  • Strong laboratory bench skills and LC-MS techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and workflows; capability to contribute to cross-functional study designs.

Education

  • Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related, or equivalent with demonstrated experience; or B.S./M.S. with relevant industry background.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience with Sciex mass spectrometers is a plus.
  • Experience in discovery and GLP bioanalysis settings and delivering data on time with appropriate rigor.
  • Previous bioanalysis experience with oligonucleotide therapeutics (siRNA, ASOs, or related modalities) is a plus.
