Role: Principal Scientist (Clinical Director) in Translational Medicine, focusing on early clinical development of cardiovascular therapeutics. Responsibilities: lead strategy from preclinical candidate approval through Phase 1 and Phase 2 proof-of-concept, develop biomarker strategies, validate clinical platforms, and support target identification and validation. Collaborate closely with discovery research, clinical pharmacology, biostatistics, and regulatory teams; oversee early clinical studies, including Phase I trials; contribute to global regulatory submissions and presentations; evaluate external opportunities. Qualifications: MD or MD/PhD, proven clinical research track record, strong biomedical research background, excellent communication skills. Preferred: Clinical Board Certification or eligibility, subspecialty in Cardiology or related fields, translational research experience, clinical care or problem-solving expertise.
