Responsibilities:
- Establish new histopathology-based assays as part of a team.
- Perform thorough histopathology reviews and test clinical samples using expertise in relevant disease processes and pathways.
- Collaborate on development and analytic validation of digital pathology algorithms.
- Interface with scientists and physicians to execute histopathology-based biomarker strategies in clinical trials.
- Provide expert pathologist input and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Education: MD (or equivalent) or MD/PhD with specialized training in Anatomic Pathology.
- Required Experience/Skills:
- 1–3 years post-residency training; experience in biological research; ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in anatomic pathology diagnosis and routine histopathology testing, including IHC and cytogenetics (in-situ hybridization), sample quality/testing procedures, and applicable lab testing regulations.
- Excellent oral/written communication and proven scientific contributions.
- Ability to lead/manage projects in fast-paced environments.
- Strong working relationships with internal/external collaborators.
- Knowledge of clinical lab regulatory standards and GxP workflows.
- Understanding of disease processes/pathways relevant to therapeutics.
- Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Digital/computational pathology algorithm development and analytic validation.
- Diagnostic/pharmaceutical industry experience; translational medicine/drug development knowledge.
- Clinical biomarker development and/or biomarker assay implementation.
- Multiplex tissue spatial profiling assays; whole slide imaging platform familiarity.
- Image analysis software (e.g., Visiopharm, HALO, QuPath) and statistics tools (e.g., Prism, SPSS).
- Regulated clinical bioanalysis.
