Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Compound Hub (CPH) team in Cambridge (500 compound orders/workday)
- Work with compound requestors, recipients, and CROs
- Coordinate CPH operations with compound management colleagues at other sites
- Validate new compound handling systems/processes (dissolution, aliquoting, sorting, etc.) with CM automation engineering teams
- Execute the Compound Hub process from weighing to distribution
- Develop, document, and maintain SOPs for process and quality control
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance performance and reliability
- Track KPIs to assess impact of enhancements/automation on project timelines
- Present compound management activities and study results in cross-functional meetings
- Lead and develop a team of 1 associate and 2 contractors
Essential Requirements:
- BS/MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years’ relevant experience, or PhD with 5+ years relevant experience
- Strong expertise in compound logistics processes and automation
- Proven compound management experience in a LMW drug discovery organization
- High attention to detail; commitment to operational excellence
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary global teams
- Flexibility and responsiveness to shifting priorities
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Salary range: $108,500–$201,500/year; performance-based cash incentive; possible annual equity awards; comprehensive benefits and time off package for US-eligible employees.
