Role: Principal Scientist, Chemical Development, leading small molecule process development for targeted cancer therapies, especially linker-payload ADCs. Responsibilities: provide technical leadership within the chemical development team, oversee scalable synthesis processes, support technology transfer to CMOs, author regulatory documentation (IND, NDA), and collaborate across research, regulatory, and CMC functions. Contribute to innovation and IP while ensuring compliance with GxP and industry standards. Requirements: PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry or equivalent with at least 7 years of industry experience in small molecule and linker-payload programs; proven project leadership in process development and tech transfer; strong analytical skills; experience in cGMP and ICH guidelines. Preferred: experience managing external partners, process troubleshooting, and developing cost-effective manufacturing routes. High-Value: focus on ADC modalities, with emphasis on small molecule linker-payloads, supporting early to late-stage development, regulatory interactions, and cross-functional team collaboration. Location: Washington State; travel 5-15%, domestic and international.
