Position Summary
- Principal Scientist in Cell Therapy Translational Research (Seattle, WA) supporting cell therapy development programs in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement end-to-end translational research strategies for cell therapy clinical trials.
- Partner with biostatisticians and computational biologists to analyze/communicate data and its context/impact.
- Develop mechanism-of-action concepts and hypotheses for BMS cell therapy products (alone or combined).
- Maintain deep understanding of biomarker assays (flow cytometry, transcriptomics, proteomics) and their use in clinical trials.
- Independently manage internal projects; serve as scientific functional lead on cross-functional teams/committees.
- Provide oversight/management of CROs and academic collaborators.
- Present internally/externally as required; support regulatory document writing (investigator brochures, INDs, clinical protocols, annual reports, regulatory queries) including translational sections.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree + 8+ years academic and/or industry experience
- OR Master’s degree + 6+ years
- OR Ph.D. or equivalent + 4+ years (Life Sciences)

Preferred Qualifications
- MS/PhD in immunology, molecular/cellular biology, or related field.
- Immunology/cellular biology expertise (autoimmune/inflammatory fundamentals desirable).
- Experience from IND filing through market authorization (desirable).
- Biomarker development/clinical trial biomarker analysis; high-content dataset analysis (transcriptomic/proteomic).
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills; detail-oriented; creative problem-solving; strong time management.

Compensation Overview
- Seattle, WA: $152,360–$184,628.
