Responsibilities:
- Serve as a senior point of contact for operational and scientific support across ADME assays (troubleshooting, data analysis, interpretation).
- Lead cross-functional collaboration; design and perform novel ADME assays.
- Conduct in vitro ADME assays manually and/or with automated liquid handling; manage multiple projects to meet timelines.
- Perform bioanalytical method development and quantification using UPLC-MS/MS.
- Critically analyze data to resolve issues and define next steps; work with project managers and senior management to complete assigned work.
- Provide expert scientific support for ADME and drug metabolism studies; stay current on literature and regulatory guidelines.
- Guide others, collaborate across functions, and present findings.
- Coach, mentor, and line manage staff; support training/development and succession planning.
- Manage/coordinate multiple projects; improve processes and efficiencies; participate in partner meetings as needed.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance; complete mandatory training; maintain up-to-date training records; participate in Evotalks.
Qualifications/Skills:
- PhD (5+ years) in biology, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or equivalent.
- Strong writing/verbal communication; excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Detailed ADME/DMPK bioanalysis knowledge; hands-on bioanalytical method development and quantification of small molecules/peptides in complex matrices.
- Strong UPLC-MS/MS systems understanding; troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of pharmacokinetic parameter determination/interpretation.
- Experience using scientific literature.
