Role: Principal Scientist leading antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) discovery programs from target concept to IND filing within Bristol Myers Squibb's Oncology Thematic Research Center. Responsibilities: independently oversee and mentor cross-functional teams, leverage advanced techniques for ADC target identification, evaluate payloads, linkers, and mechanisms of action, collaborate with pharmacology, DMPK, bioinformatics, and translational scientists on program design and patient stratification, and communicate findings effectively. Requirements: Ph.D. or equivalent in Life Sciences, 4+ years industry experience in oncology drug discovery; hands-on expertise in biologics, ADC technologies, assay development, and IND contribution. Preferred: leadership skills, experience with complex biologics, AI/data-driven decision-making, and expertise in payload/linker design. High-Value: focus on oncology, biologics modalities, early discovery to IND, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and innovative ADC technologies. Work setup: likely hybrid or onsite in Cambridge with travel as needed.
