Principal Research AI Innovation Lead

Role: Principal Research AI Innovation Lead responsible for designing, prototyping, and scaling AI capabilities to accelerate drug discovery and translational science. Responsibilities: partner with research teams to identify AI opportunities, develop scalable LLM-enabled solutions, establish evaluation standards, and build agentic workflows for complex scientific tasks such as target evidence assembly, biomarker interpretation, and translational synthesis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI, data, engineering, and scientific experts to ensure scalable, governed prototypes that improve research decision-making. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 8+ years, Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years in a scientific, computational, or AI field; experience in translational research, target evaluation, or related areas; deep knowledge of AI architectures, large language models, and scientific evidence reasoning. Preferred: advanced degrees, hands-on experience with AI systems reasoning across heterogeneous biomedical data, designing evaluation frameworks, and developing domain-specific deep learning models. High-Value: focus on AI-enablement in drug discovery, translational science, and biomarker research within a fast-paced biopharma environment.
